This policy explains what information Linden Street Studio ("we," "us," "the studio") collects when you visit lindenstreetstudio.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Linden Street Studio LLC is an Oregon limited liability company based in Portland, Oregon, operated by Michael.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, the subject you choose, and your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include.
- Technical information. Like any website, our host records standard server information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is used to run and secure the site.
- Usage analytics. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. It does not identify you personally.
- Client preview area. If you are a client using our password-protected preview area, we process the materials, links, ratings, and feedback you submit there in order to carry out your project.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about your project.
- To provide, maintain, and secure the website.
- To meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we use to run the studio, and only so they can perform their function:
- Netlify: hosts the website and processes contact-form submissions.
- Fastmail: provides our email, so your messages reach us.
- Any analytics or scheduling tool we use, where applicable.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Cookies
The public pages of this site do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our host may set strictly necessary cookies for security and to keep the site working. The client preview area uses a sign-in cookie so a logged-in client stays logged in; it is used only for access to that area.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form messages and correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to keep reasonable business records, then delete them. Client project materials are kept for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period afterward.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email michael@lindenstreetstudio.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act; we honor those rights where they apply.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive information (such as passwords or financial details) through the contact form.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
